Thatta city hit by 11-hour power outage

THATTA:Prolong power outage upto 11 hours hit hard the people of Thatta city on Thursday, tormenting fasting people in the holy month of Ramazan amid heatwave.

Despite claims of Naya Pakistan by Prime Minister Imran Khan, the people of in Thatta suffered from power outages. Many areas in the city faced water shortage while whole city was also in the grip of warm weather.

The power load shedding upto 11 hours in the day time seems to be unjustified as the business and social activities were badly affected in the city.

Worst sufferers were children and fasting people. Hot weather kept many people to stay homes. The load-shedding and warm weather made the life of people miserable. There is need to bring halt to power outages so that people could take a sigh of relief at least in the holy month of Ramazan.

It seemed that there is no merciful leader, who can resolve this issue. Imran Khan during political campaigns on containers and election drive had made big claims of resolving power outages issue, but there is no improvement yet.
