Three killed in road separate accidents

KARACHI:Three people were killed in separate road accidents in different areas of the city in wee hours of Saturday.

According to rescue sources, a 37-year-old man, Sarwar Khan, son of Khan Meer, resident of Machar Colony, was hit by a fast-moving vehicle in Maripur area. As a result, he suffered severe injuries and died on the spot. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities.

Separately, a 17-year-old unknown man was hit by a speedily moving vehicle at New Sabzi Mandi area. As a result, he suffered severe injuries and died on the spot. The body was moved to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for an autopsy.

Meanwhile, a minor boy, Sawar, aged 5 years, son of Saeed, was hit by a fast-moving vehicle in Landhi’s Mueenabad area. As a result, he died on the spot.

The body was brought to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for a postmortem examination.
