Two dead, 13 injured in Quetta blast

QUETTA:At least two persons died while thirteen others injured when a bomb exploded near a vehicle of security forces on Meconghy Road area of the provincial capital on Tuesday.

Security forces cordoned off the area. The injured and dead bodies were shifted to hospitals. However, condition of some of the injured was termed critical.

However, Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan strongly condemned bomb blast at Meconghy Road and sought a report about the incident from the concerned authorities, a Chief Minister’s Secretariat statement said.

Chief Minister directed the concerned authorities to beef up security arrangements in the city so that terrorists could not get the opportunity of raising their heads again.
