Naseerabad:Two persons including a woman were killed by armed men at Munjhu Sura area of district Naseerabad while three other persons including a woman were wounded.
According to police, some armed men entered a house at Goth Dur Muhammad Rind falling in the jurisdiction of Munjhu Sura Police Station, Naseerabad and opened indiscriminate firing.
As a result one woman Darya Khatoon and a man Erz Muhmmad died while one woman Haseena Bibi and two men, Khan Muhammad and Raheem Bakhsh were seriously injured. The armed men escaped after committing crime.
Local police reached the place and shifted dead bodies and wounded persons to Civil Hospital Dera Murad Jamali. Later, after medico-legal formalities, corpses were handed over to the relatives. However, wounded persons were shifted to Larkana hospital for treatment, as local civil hospital does not have facilities to deal emergency patients.
The incident was reported to be the result of old enmity. The matter is being investigated by the police.
