Two killed in firing on car

KARACHI:Two persons were shot dead in an armed attack at Karachi’s Nipa Chowrangi on Friday.

According to rescue sources, four unidentified armed men on two motorbikes, opened firing on a car at Nipa flyover. As a result, two persons sustained severe bullet injuries.

They were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for treatment where they succumbed to their injuries.

One of the deceased was identified as Amir Shahab. The targeted vehicle reportedly belonged to a seminary situated in Korangi area.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah took notice of the incident and sought a detailed inquiry report from Additional IG Karachi.

The Sindh chief minister asked the additional IG to identify whether it is an incident of targeted killing or not. He also ordered immediate arrest of the suspects.

The IGP Sindh directed SSP East to submit inquiry report regarding the incident, immediately.
