KARACHI:Two persons were killed, and one other injured in different road accidents in the metropolis in the wee hours of Wednesday.
According to rescue sources, a fast-moving car hit a motorbike near Khayaban-e-Shamsheer in Karachi’s Defence area. As a result, a 17-year-old man, Ibrar and an 18-year-old Kamran suffered severe injuries.
The injured were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for treatment where Ibrar succumbed to his injuries.
Separately, a speeding truck hit a bus on Superhighway in Nooriabad. As a result, a 40-year-old man, Shah Saeed suffered severe injuries and died on the spot.
The body was brought to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
