QUETTA: Customs Quetta in collaboration with police recovered 12 tons of betel nuts from a liquefied petroleum gas tanker that had exploded inside a warehouse at Western Bypass of Quetta previous day.
According to sources some smugglers were loading betel nuts in said LPG tanker to smuggle it other parts of the country when it exploded.
Some 12000 kilograms of betel nuts were recovered, having value of millions of rupees.
