LARKANA: The residents of village But Sharif, located near Bakrani, held a protest demonstration in front of Bakrani Press Club on Thursday against highhandedness of Hasan Wahan police.
Talking to media, the village women – Ameeran Panhwar, Rahima, Suhni, and Hameeda – said that the armed men of an influential Mohammad Ibrahim Panhwar attacked their houses and injured three members after severely beating Nazir, Amir and Wazir Panhwar who had been admitted to Chandka Hospital Larkana, but instead of registering FIR against the influential and his henchmen, Hasan Wahan police raided their homes and took away five tolas of gold and three lakh rupees cash.
They further alleged that they also arrested Mohammad Moosa after violence. The women said due to police fear, they had left their houses and were away from their village to protect themselves and their kids. They demanded of the SSP, DIGP Larkana and IGP Sindh to take notice of the ruthless attitude of the cops and take action against the influential who had made them homeless.
