Mirpurkhas:A group of villagers protested at Naukot against forcible occupation of their land.
Villagers of Rangar Bangli Goth led by Riyasat and Muhammad Jameel protested in front of Naukot Press Club.
Protesters told that in 1965 their ancestors owned several acres of land which is the only source of their income. They said that due to water shortage they were not doing farming on 6 acres of land and some armed people of Gurgez community occupied their land and build a colony over it.
We have won cases in Sessions court Mithi and Civil Judicial Magistrate Mithi but the administration is not cooperating with us to get us possession of our land, the said and appeal to higher authorities to take action against encroachers and provide them their land.
