MIRO KHAN: Members of Barach community held a protest in front of Miro Khan Press Club near here on Sunday against atrocities of the head (Wadero) of their Muhammad Usman Barach village demanding stern legal action against him.
While talking to media persons Zufiqar Barach, Niaz Barach, Mashooque Barach and other villagers alleged that influential Wadero Ghulam Abbas Barach is head of PPP in their village and a very cruel person due to his party position. They said since years he has been doing illegal money-lending business, has also encroached upon ancient graveyard land and has constructed shops over there which is unlawful.
They said apart from this, he is also forcibly occupying our ancestral properties because of his influence. They said when we raised our voice against his highhandedness he lodged false cases against us with the help of police, issuing us threats of life and harassing us constantly. They further alleged that Wadero Abbas has crippled our lives and ruined peace in the village due to which we are extremely worried because of his wickedness.
They urged PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, DIGP Larkana and other higher government officers to take notice of the issues, take legal action against him, provide protection to them and dispense justice so that we can also live comfortably in the village.
