Karachi:Police here Tuesday arrested a woman who had allegedly drowned her own baby into the sea in Clifton area.
SSP South Peer Muhammad Shah said that Sahil Police on information provided by citizens arrested a 28-years-old woman, who had allegedly thrown her two and half years old girl baby, Anaam, into the sea near Farhan Shaheed Park DHA Phase-8 previous day.
However, the body of the baby was recovered from Do-Darya area. Police was probing into the issue. Initial probe suggests that some domestic issues were involved in this case.
