Women folk in West embracing Islam in large number: JI leader

LAHORE:Deputy Chief of the Jamaat e Islami, Rashid Naseem, has said that the women folk in the west were embracing Islam in large numbers after rejecting the western culture. He was speaking at the Al- Nisa Islamic centre in the Punjab capital.

He said that the ratio of the women among the new entrants into Islam was well above seventy per cent. He said the west had been using the womenfolk as a marketing commodity but there was now an increasing awareness among women about the protection of their chastity.

He said that the propaganda of the west and the western media against Islam had failed to control the increasing culture of Hijab which was becoming popular all over the world.

The JI deputy chief said that the west had been exploiting the concept of the women freedom and in several countries, the women had to work in extreme cold in half naked and the western women were sick of that.

Rashid Naseem said that the increasing awareness among the Pakistani women about their natural responsibilities was a health sign and it guaranteed a bright future for the country and the Muslim Ummah.
