QUETTA:A coalminer died due to accumulation of gas in a coalmine at Lease area of Mach on Saturday.
According to Levies, the incident occurred in Raza Khan Lease area of Mach where a coalminer Shaista Khan son of Saadullah, a citizen of Afghanistan died due to smoke suffocation.
Coalminers retrieved the dead body on self-help basis and rushed to Civil Hospital Mach from it was sent to Afghanistan after completion of necessary medico-legal formalities.
Such deadly incidents are common in mines of Balochistan due to lack of safety measures.
