SHIKARPUR:A youngster was kidnapped from Mehmooda Bagh located within the jurisdiction of Chak police station near Shikarpur on Wednesday.
The youngster Mazda driver identified as Bilawal Soomro, aged 22, son of Haji Muhammad Qasim Soomro, resident of village Roopahi was on his way from his village Roopahi towards Mehmoodabagh on Datson carrying bananas when he was kidnapped from the way by some six outlaws riding on three motorbikes. They took him away towards katcha area.
A police party, headed by DSP Iqtidar Jatoi, accompanied with relatives of kidnapper and other villagers followed the footprints of the kidnapper but returned back when the footprints disappeared n Garhi Tegho.
Neither any recovery of the kidnapper was reported nor any arrest of culprits could be made till filing this report.
