KARACHI:A youth was crushed to death by a speeding heavy trailer-truck in Landhi area of the metropolis on Wednesday.
According to rescue sources, a 25-year-old youth, Yasin, son of Nazim, was crushed to death by a speeding heavy trailer-truck in Landhi No-2. The driver of trailer and cleaner fled the scene after the accident.
However, the area people took to the streets, burning tires to protest the killing of the youth. They also alleged that the policemen at MurtazaChowrangi and Landhi take money and let the heavy traffic pass through out of schedules.
