12 outlaws including two killers held

Islamabad, September 07, 2018 (PPI-OT): The Homicide Unit of Islamabad Police on Thursday arrested two alleged killers while 10 other outlaws were held from various areas of the city besides recovery of hashish, stolen bike and weapons from them, a police spokesman said. He said that a person Raja Yasrab Ali s/o Liaqat Ali was shot dead by person Jalil Khan in area of Tarnol police station on August 20, 2018.

Following this incident, Senior Superintendent of Police (Operations) Najeeb-ur-Rehman Bugvi assigned the task to SP (Saddar) and SP (Investigation) to ensure arrest of the perpetrator of this act. They constituted a team including Inspector Abdul Ghaffor from Homicide Unit, Sub-Inspector Muneer Khan, Abid Hussain, Ameer Hamza and others. This police team worked hard and succeeded to arrest Jalil Khan while a 30 bore pistol was also recovered from him used a murder tool.

Meanwhile, police team also arrested Rustam Abbassi involved in a murder case and also recovered 30 bore pistol used as murder tool from him. Sub-Inspector Shamas ul Akbar from Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) arrested Deen Muhammad and recovered 1.490 kilogram hashish from him. ASI Tanveer Hussain from Bhara Kau police arrested Zeeshan for having 30 bore pistol while ASI Muhammad Sharif recovered a stolen motorbike from an accused Islam Khan. Sub-Inspector Saif Ullah recovered 105 gram hashish from Muhammad Khan.

ASI Asif Raza from Tarnol police recovered 30 bore pistol from an accused Shahzeb while ASI Akhtar Shahid Asghar arrested Said Muhammad, Alam and Fazal for decanting gas in cylinders illegally. Sub-Inspector Ghulam Muhammad Shah arrested Sikandar Hyat and Imran for having one 30 bore pistol each. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them. SSP Islamabad Najeeb-ur-Rehman Bugvi has appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials to accelerate efforts in curbing activities of anti-social elements.
