17 outlaws including 10 drug peddlers held; 4.620 kg hashish and weapons recovered

Islamabad, January 26, 2018 (PPI-OT):Islamabad police have arrested 17 outlaws including 10 drug pushers and recovered 4.620 kilogram hashish, 1250 grams opium, 150 gram heroin and weapons from them, a police spokesman said on Friday. He said that Inspector Abdul Sattar from CIA police arrested Hameed Khan and recovered 1050 grams hashish from him. Station House office of Kohsar Police Station Inspector Ahmed Kamal, ASI Ishtiaq Hussain Shah along with others arrested two bootleggers identified as Muhammad Tasleem and Qaisar Shahzad besides recovering 56 wine bottles from their possession.

Station House office of Noon Police Station Inspector Muhammad Aslam arrested Mansab Ali and recovered 1250 gram opium from him. ASI Muhammad Ramzan from Karachi Company police arrested a bootlegger Rehan Masih and recovered 20 wine bottles from him. Sub-Inspector Abdul Sattar arrested Aslam Masih and recovered 150 gram heroin from him.

Likewise, Sub-Inspector Mansoor Ahmed from Industrial-Area police station arrested Sher Wali for having 1050 gram hashish. Sub-Inspector Amjad Ali from Sabzi Mandi police held Niaz Ahmed and recovered 1400 grams hashish from him. Sub-Inspector Sarfraz Ahmed from Koral police arrested Zafar Mehmood and recovered 18 litre wine from him while two other Afzal and Abid were held for having one 12 bore gun and one dagger respectively. ASI Zafar Ali from Shehzad Town Police arrested Tariq and recovered one 9 mm pistols along with ammunition from him.

ASI Azkar Hussain from Lo i Bher police Station arrested Shahzad and recovered one 30 bore pistol from him. ASI Manzoor Hussain from Golra Police station arrested two accused Sarwar Khan and Furqan involved in selling petroleum products illegally. Furthermore, ASI Saeed Ahmed from Industrial Area police nabbed Akash Masih and Michael Masih involved in decanting gas in cylinders illegally.

ASI Zulfiqar Ahmed from Sihala police station arrested Abdul Rehman involved in theft case. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them. SSP Islamabad Najeeb ur Rehman Bugvi has appreciated this performance and directed all police officials for effective policing measures in their respective areas.
