18-hour-long power load shedding hits Khairpur dist’s all villages amid virus misery

Gambat:Amid coronavirus outbreak, the power load shedding up to 18 hours is being carried out in all villages of district Khairpur that include Razi Dero Kacho, Noor Pur, Sagyoon, Ripri, Kamal Dero, Khemtia, Jadowahan, Belharo, Noor Jo Goth and many others.

The business, education and social activities are already suspended due to the virus lockdown while People pass life in trouble due to load shedding. It seems that there is no merciful leader, who can resolve this issue. It seems that the rulers have no responsibility in this regard.

Imran Khan during political campaigns on containers and election drive have made big claims of resolving power outages issue, but there is not progress yet 18 hours power outages continue to hit people hard, making their lives miserable. Residents of different villages including Razidero, Dilawal and Sitabo said their agriculture depends on tube-wells which needed electricity but due to power outages, their crops had been affected.

The residents of Razi Dero Kacho, Noor Pur, Sagyoon and Ripri have demanded of the government to help reduce power load shedding. Khairpur district is in Sindh province’s Sukkur Division. As per the latest census, it is the fifth most populated district in the province after four districts of Karachi city, with 2.4 million inhabitants.
