19 CRPF men injured in Srinagar road accident

Srinagar, May 27, 2018 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, 19 personnel of Indian paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force were injured in a road accident in Srinagar, today. The CRPF Inspector General, Ravideep Sahi while talking to media men in Srinagar claimed that the mishap took place after some youth pelted stones on the vehicle. “Nineteen paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) men were injured, one of them critically, after their vehicle met with an accident in Bemina area of Srinagar on Sunday,” he added.

The vehicle of 28 BN CRPF was on way to convoy ground when it skidded off the road and turned turtle, resulting in injuries to 19 troopers. The CRPF IG said, “Nineteen troopers suffered injuries in the incident. All the injured have been hospitalized. Nine among the injured were shifted to army’s 92 Base hospital Badamibagh for treatment where the condition of a trooper is stated to be critical.”
