A person was injured in a firing incident in the Miran Naka area of Lyari, Karachi, and was immediately transferred to Civil Trauma via an Edhi ambulance. Another incident occurred near Garden Jamaat, where another person was shot and was also taken to the same medical center by Edhi services.

Meanwhile, in District Kemari, a dramatic exchange of fire took place between police and armed motorcyclists near Noor Masjid, Rangar Muhalla. According to SSP Kemari, Captain (R) Faizan Ali, a police unit attempted to stop a suspicious motorcyclist during a routine patrol, upon which the suspects opened fire.

Madina Colony police managed to subdue and arrest 2 suspects after the encounter. Authorities recovered a 30-bore pistol, bullets, and a stolen Honda 125 motorcycle from their possession. The arrested individuals were identified as Muhammad Jamil son of Muhammad Mustafa and Muhammad Faizan son of Muhammad Israr, who confessed to being involved in multiple crimes targeting individuals withdrawing money from ATMs.
