Two people were killed and five others injured in various incidents in Thatta on Saturday. A 14-year-old boy, Farhan, who was seriously injured after hitting his head while bathing in Gharo Water Park, was shifted to Karachi in critical condition.

According to reports, Hafizullah Jokhio, a motorcycle rider and resident of Darsano Chhana, was killed on the spot as a result of a collision between a donkey cart and a motorcycle on the Jam House National Highway in Gharo. The body was handed over to the heirs after necessary proceedings. In another incident, 14-year-old Farhan, son of Ali Allah, suffered a head injury while bathing in Gharo Water Park. He was shifted to Karachi in critical condition after being taken to Rural Health Center Gharo. The injured Farhan had come to Water Park Gharo from Korangi, Karachi for recreation with his relatives. Meanwhile, in Thatta’s Waria Mohalla, drug addicts tried to break into houses to steal. When some people from the neighborhood tried to catch them, the addicts attacked the residents with stones and bricks, injuring four people. The drug addicts escaped from the scene. The police have been informed. Also on Saturday, a young man died after being electrocuted by electric wires, leaving his six children orphaned. This horrific incident took place in village Chhato Chand, 5 km from Thatta, due to the falling of 11000 volt wires.

On Saturday morning, Babu Samo was passing by the spot when he got entangled in electric wires. He died on the spot.

It is said that Samo was the sole breadwinner of his family.
