Qureshi condoles with Turkey over deaths in quake

Islamabad, October 31, 2020 (PPI-OT):Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi telephoned his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu today and expressed deep sorrow and grief over the loss of life and property in earthquake in Turkey. Shah Mahmood Qureshi conveyed his condolences to the families of the deceased in the earthquake and prayed for early recovery of the injured. He said the Pakistan government and the entire Pakistani nation stand by their Turkish brethren in this difficult moment, and we are ready to extend every sort of help. COVID-19: NCOC to seek citizens’ help for compliance of SOPs

Islamabad, October 31, 2020 (PPI-OT):The National Command and Operation Centre has decided to seek citizens’ help for compliance of SOPs against COVID-19. In a tweet, today (Saturday), Minister for Planning Asad Umar said the decision has been taken in view of the arrival of the second wave of Coronavirus pandemic and continued wide scale violation of the SOPs. He said the citizens should take a picture and send it to 0335-3336262 along with location wherever they see violation of SOPs, including wearing of face masks in crowded places and social distancing. COVID-19: Over 800 new cases, 11 deaths reported

According to the latest statistics, the virus claimed lives of 11 more people during the last 24 hours. The figure of patients recovered from the virus has reached 314,066. Indian threats should be considered as warning: Masood
