Minister: (PM rejected opposition’s demand for amending NAB laws: Sheikh Rashid)

Islamabad:Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has said Prime Minister Imran Khan has rejected the opposition’s demand for amending the NAB laws. Talking to newsmen in Lahore on Saturday, he condemned Nawaz Sharif's statement against Pak Army and said that Nawaz Sharif is a self-centered man regarding politics. The minister said Nawaz Sharif is speaking against the national institutions. He said a new party will emerge out of PLM-N.

ISPR: (Two ‘hardcore’ terrorists killed in North Waziristan operation)

Islamabad:Two hardcore terrorists including an improvised explosive device specialist have been killed during an Intelligence Based Operation of security forces in North Waziristan district. According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces conducted operation on terrorist hideout in Boya area and one terrorist was also apprehended. These terrorists were involved in killing innocent locals, extortion, planning and executing more than 25 terrorists’ attacks on security forces.

ISPR: (Naval Chief pays farewell call on CJCSC)

Islamabad:Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi paid farewell call on Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Nadeem Raza in Rawalpindi on Saturday. According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee thanked the Chief of Naval Staff for his services to the nation during a long and illustrious career.

Islamabad:Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Political Communication Dr Shahbaz Gill has said the government has taken solid steps for progress and development of the country. Talking to newsmen in Lahore on Saturday, he said when the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf came into power, the country’s economy was in shambles and Prime Minister Imran Khan strived hard to stabilize the national economy. He said Nawaz Sharif is playing a dangerous game by leveling allegations against the army. He said Pakistan Army always helps the nation in difficult situations.

(Crime): Meeting discusses rise in sexual violence
