ISLAMABAD:Information Minister Shibli Faraz has said the people want accountability of those who desecrated Mazar-e-Quaid and promoted narrative of anti-Pakistan elements in the gatherings of Quetta and Gujranwala. In a tweet on Monday, he said the leadership of the opposition should not be mistaken that the statement of former Speaker Ayaz Sadiq will be put in the back burner. He said their sordid designs aimed at appeasing the enemy by spitting venom against the state institutions will not be allowed to succeed.
ISLAMABAD:Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have agreed to undertake joint efforts for promotion of cooperation in the field of information technology. The understanding came during a telephonic conversation between Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Saudi Minister for Information Technology Abdullah Al-Swaha. ISLAMABAD:Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that politics is the name of dignity and integrity therefore we will not allow the politics of anarchy in the province. In a statement issued from Lahore on Monday, he said that Pakistani institutions are our pride and government will not tolerate disrespect of these institutions. He said those who speak against institutions in lust for power are not well-wishers of the country and nation. ISLAMABAD:Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Hussain Chaudhry has said that Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) would be granted status of fifth province with consensus of all stakeholders. Talking to a private news channel, he said the people of Gilgit Baltistan have equal rights of citizenship and granting status of province to GB will bring the people of the area into main stream.
