13 killed in van-bus collision near Sheikhupura

Sheikhupura:Thirteen people, including women and children, were killed and 16 others injured in a collision between a van and a bus in Narang Mandi on the Narowal Road near Sheikhupura on Monday. According to Rescues sources, a fast-moving van collided with a bus on the Narowal Road near Sheikhupura following which fire erupted due to explosion in van's gas cylinder after which both vehicles caught fire. As a result, 13 people, including women and children, were killed and 17 others injured. The cause behind the accident was stated to be fog. Death toll is feared to rise as most of the injured are stated to be in critical condition. Firefighters doused the fire after hectic efforts. PDM holds big show in Multan; Aseefa says selected will have to go now

MULTAN:The 11-party anti-government alliance, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), on Monday held its fifth power show in Multan's Ghanta Ghar Chowk area despite arrests and barricades. The public gathering venue was changed amid arrests and blockages made tbe PTI government. The original venue of the PDM show was Qila Kohna Qasim Bagh stadium. It was changed as the local administration had denied permission to the opposition parties for the public gathering due to increasing covid cases in the country.
