Government revises prices of petroleum products

Islamabad, July 31, 2022 (PPI-OT):The government has decided to reduce the petrol prices by 3.05 rupee per litre. According to a press release issued by the Finance Division on Sunday, the price of High Speed Diesel has been enhanced by 8.95 rupee per litre, while Kerosene 4.62 rupee per litre. FBR commences the Current Financial Year by Exceeding the July Target by Significant Margin

Islamabad, July 31, 2022 (PPI-OT):Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has released the provisional revenue collection figures for the month of July, 2022. According to the provisional information, FBR has collected net revenue of Rs. 458 billion during July 2022, which has exceeded the target of Rs 443 billion by Rs 15 billion. This represents a growth of about 10 % over the collection of Rs. 417 billion during the same period, last year. These figures would further improve after book adjustments have been taken into account. These collections are the highest ever in the month of July. ECC directs for setting up petroleum product prices within a week

Islamabad, July 31, 2022 (PPI-OT):Economic Coordination Committee of the Cabinet has directed Petroleum Division to work out options in consultation with OGRA for setting up petroleum product prices within a week. Its meeting was held in Islamabad today with Minister for Finance and Revenue Miftah Ismail in the chair. The ECC directed the Petroleum Division to submit a proposal within a week to regulate the prices of Kerosene Oil and Light Diesel Oil after consultation with relevant stakeholders.
