PM, Qatar Amir discuss issues of mutual interest

Islamabad, August 07, 2022 (PPI-OT):Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a telephonic conversation with the Amir of the State of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, on Sunday. The two leaders exchanged views on issues of mutual interest. According to a press release issued by the Prime Minister’s office, Qatar and Pakistan enjoy close and cordial relations. Death toll from Israeli airstrikes on Gaza strip rises to 30

Islamabad, August 07, 2022 (PPI-OT):The death toll in continued and unabated Israeli air strikes and rocket attacks at Gaza has risen to 30 including six children and more than two hundred injured. The Israeli military says this latest operation could last for a week. Meanwhile, dozens of Palestinians have been arrested in raids across the occupied West Bank. Palestine Islamic Jihad group in a statement said the blood of martyrs will not be wasted. Hamas has also issued strong statements saying that resistance groups are united. The UN humanitarian chief for the occupied Palestinian territories, Lynn Hastings, urged the warring sides to allow “fuel, food, and medical supplies” to be delivered to Gaza amid the worsening crisis. Pakistan rejects Indian remarks criticising OIC’s statement on IIOJ and K

28 Palestinians including six children martyred in Israeli air strikes, rocket attacks on Gaza

Islamabad, August 07, 2022 (PPI-OT):Israel in its continued brutalities has martyred twenty eight Palestinians including six children in air strikes and rocket attacks on Gaza during the last two days. Israel claims it launched the operations due to threat from Palestine Islamic Jihad group. Israel has stopped the transport of fuel into Gaza crippling the territory’s lone power plant and reducing electricity to around eight hours per day. An Egyptian delegation would be travelling to Gaza today for mediation talks and were hoping to secure a day’s ceasefire in order to carry out the talks.
