Two Pakistan Army soldiers martyred in Dir bomb blast

RAWALPINDI: Two Pakistan Army soldiers were martyred in a bomb explosion in Dir district. According to a statement issued by the ISPR on Sunday, an improvised explosive device exploded as the security forces personnel passed by in general area Barawal of Dir District. Resultantly, Sepoy Sajid Ali (age 30 years and resident of Kotli, Azad Kashmir) and Sepoy Adnan Mumtaz (age 32 years, resident of Poonch, Azad Kashmir) embraced shahadat (martyrdom). Following the incident, the security forces launched an operation to clear the area and eliminate any terrorists present in the region. The ISPR statement further said that the Pakistan Army is determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers will not go unpunished.

First electric car unveiled in Pakistan

KARACHI: The country's first electric car was unveiled on Pakistan's 75th Independence Day in Karachi on Sunday. According to details, the echo-friendly Pakistani car named Noor-E75 has been developed under the auspices of the Dice Foundation. DICE Foundation Chairman Dr Khursheed Qureshi while talking to the media said it is an eco-friendly electric car and a proud achievement of Pakistani engineers. He said it has 5-seat and 5-door. With the AC, the electric car is equipped with a 35-kilowatt battery that will be charged in just 7 to 8 hours, he added. Dr Khurshid Qureshi further informed that the Pakistani electric car will run 210 kilometres on a single charge and will hit the roads in 2024.Mazar.

Two die in road accident near Loralai

LORALAI: Two women died while sixteen others, including women and children, sustained injuries in a road accident in district Loralai of Balochistan province on Sunday. According to levies force, over speeding passenger wagon turned turtle on Dera Road area in district Loralai, resultantly, two women namely Manu Bibi and Ujra Bibi died while sixteen others, including women and children, sustained injuries. The bodies and injured were rushed to Loralai hospital for completion of codal formalities and treatment, respectively.
