Prime Minister expresses gratitude to China for extending assistance to flood-hit Pakistan

Islamabad, October 02, 2022 (PPI-OT):Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has thanked China for its generous assistance to support the flood affected people of Pakistan. In a tweet on Sunday, he said our Chinese friends are continuing to help the flood victims in Pakistan. He said the total volume of aid has increased from 400 million to 644 million Chinese Yuan. The Prime Minister said we are deeply obliged to Chinese Government, the Communist Party of China, Red Cross Society of China, sister provinces and the People’s Liberation Army for the assistance. Sherry condemns incidents of women harassment

Addressing a “Dialogue on Growing Violence Against Women in Politics” in Islamabad on Sunday, she said no civilized society allow harassment against women. Sherry Rehman said forty nine percent of Pakistan’s population consists of women, who are the worst affected by any crisis. Turkiye’s 13th ‘Kindness Train’ sets off for flood-hit Pakistan

Islamabad, October 02, 2022 (PPI-OT):Turkiye’s 13th “Kindness Train” carrying 554 tons of relief supplies for flood victims, has set off for Pakistan. Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management in a statement said the train has left Ankara and is expected to reach Islamabad in about two weeks. The shipment was ordered by Turkiye’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. It will raise the total Turkish aid for flood affected people of Pakistan transported by rail alone to roughly 7,290 tons. Germany enhances financial support to €56 million for Pakistan’s flood victims
