ICCI demands to make Islamabad a Protest Free City

Islamabad: Opposing the expected long march of Imran Khan of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) on Monday demanded the government to make the capital a protest-free city. The traders delegation held a meeting with Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan and urged him to bring a bill in the Parliament to declare Islamabad a protest-free city. The business community of the capital city said that the long marches and sit-ins in Islamabad threaten to destroy the economy and business of Islamabad. The delegation also said that the life of the citizens of Islamabad will be paralyzed by the long march of the PTI while the diplomatic community also suffers for the same reason.

SPG, SPF constable interviews scheduled in Nov

LARKANA: As many as 1409 candidates, who passed SPG (Special Police Group) and SPF (Special Police Force) police constable written test held at Police Training School (PTS), Larkana, have been directed to appear in the interview along with their original education qualification testimonials at the PTS from 2nd to 4th November 2022 at 7am sharp. This was stated by the Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP), Larkana Range, Mazhar Nawaz Shaikh, in a statement issued here on Monday. Tillers block Larkana-Sukkur Highway

NAUNDERO: The growers and peasants of various villages including Agani, Paru Bhutto, Tagar and other villages blocked Larkana-Sukkur Highway at Agani Turn near here on Monday demanding dewatering of flood water from their lands so that they could be able to cultivate upcoming crops to earn livelihood for their families.
