Call to conduct inquiry into relief goods given to PDMA

QUETTA: Chairman, “Haq Do Tehreek Quetta” Bashir Khan Boxer, Senior Deputy Chairman, Hafiz Rehmatullah Khan Nurzai and Central Organizer, Gran Bacha have demanded of the authorities to conduct inquiry into the relief goods provided to the PDMA for distribution amongst the rain and flood affected families of Quetta. In a statement issued here on Sunday, they said that recent rains wreaked havoc in different areas of Pushtunabad, including Bund Mitha Chowk, Nurzai Colony, Muhammad Khair Road, Akhtar Muhammad Jamia Masjid area near Moulana Niaz Muhammad Durrani madrassa, Quetta, but the authorities of Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), Balochistan have not provided any kind of relief goods to the rain and flood affected families of these mentioned areas. Black flags will be hoisted on Nov 2 against Arshad Sharif’s murder

KARACHI: Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) has denoted the International Day to End Impunity for Crimes Against Journalists to Arshad Sharif. The international day to highlight crimes against journalists annually observed on November 02. Arshad Sharif, a renowned journalist, was shot dead in Kenya by the local police on last Sunday night along the Nairobi-Magadi highway. Pishin levies captures two suspects, recovers stolen car

PISHIN:Pishin levies claimed to have recovered a stolen vehicle in an operation conducted in Saranan area of district Pishin in Balochistan province on Sunday. Two alleged accused were also arrested during the operation. Larkana chamber demands sugarcane rate at Rs300 per 40kg

LARKANA: If the Pakistan Sugar Mills Association (PSMA) people persist in their stubbornness and the sugar mills do not operate till 15th November and do not pay the appropriate rate, then the farmers too will be left with no alternative but to stop cultivating sugarcane and turn to other crops. This was stated by Sirajul Oliya Rashdi, President, Larkana Chamber of Agriculture (LCA), while talking to the participants who held a meeting here on Sunday to discuss crop cultivation in Sindh. Rs250 million allocated for Gwadar city: MPA Kalmati

GWADAR: MPA Mir Hamal Kalmati, has said that government had attached top priority to the development of Gwadar.
