CM okays introduction of cyberknife technology in Jinnah Hospital

LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has approved the introduction of cyberknife technology in Jinnah Hospital Lahore and Nishtar Hospital Multan soon to treat cancer and other complex diseases free of cost through this technology. While chairing a meeting, the CM said that doctors will also be trained about this treatment method. Tuba Hassan ruled out of Ireland series

KARACHI: Right-arm leg-spinner Tuba Hassan has been ruled out of the Ireland series due to injury in her index finger. The PCB Medical panel after investigating the injury have advised Tuba a four-week rest and therefore she was released from the T20I squad. Tuba - who has featured for Pakistan in 16 T20Is, was part of the T20I squad only. The replacement for Tuba will be made in due course.
