Foreign Minister Addresses SCO Council of Heads of Government Meeting

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari addressed the 21st Meeting of the Council of Heads of Government (CHG) of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) today. The meeting was virtually hosted by China, as the current Chair of the SCO-CHG. The Heads of Government of China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan as well as representatives from SCO Observer States attended the meeting. Fact-Finding Committee formed to probe lynching of two telecom employees

KARACHI: Special Assistant to Chief Minister for Human Rights Surendar Valasai has formed a Fact-Finding Committee headed by Ayub Khosa, Member of Sindh Human Rights Commission to probe into the mob lynching of two innocent employees of a telecom company in Karachi’s Machhar Colony area last week. Three other members of Provincial Human Rights Vigilance Committee including Kashif Bajeer, Syed Mahmood Alam Shah Advocate and Ms. Shakira Siddiqui advocate have also been inducted in the Fact-Finding Committee. UN coordinator calls on chief secretary Sindh

KARACHI: The United Nations Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator for Pakistan Julien Harneis on Tuesday called upon Chief Secretary Sindh Suhail Ahmed Rajput at his office. The different issues being faced by flood affectees, the process of rehabilitation and relief activities were discussed during the meeting. The meeting was attended by Chairman Planning and Development, Provincial Secretaries including Rehabilitation, Irrigation and Agriculture departments and others. KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan MPA Mangla Sharma and Burns Road Town in-charge Irfanullah Khan met Sui Southern Gas Company Engineer Deshmukh and informed him about the gas problems faced by the residents of City Railway Colony.
