Protests held in different cities against attack on Imran

LAHORE:Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf workers and supporters Thursday in many cities came out for protests as the party leader Imran Khan was fired on in the PTI long march.   Workers in Faisalabad came out in the Jinnah Colony Chowk on Narwala road to protest against their leader being shot on. PTI Workers announced to sit in as protest in different areas of Karachi against this heinous act. Many workers started to gather in the Power House and Insaf House areas of Karachi.   In Rawalpindi, the protestors came out on Murree road. Father, son die in road accident near Killa Saifullah

KILLA SAIFULLAH:Father and son died after the vehicle they were driving met an accident near Killa Saifullah area of Balochistan province on Thursday.   Accident to rescue sources, vehicle of father and son, who wanted to attend religious pilgrimage at Raiwand, met an accident near Killa Saifullah area of Balochistan, resultantly, one man Abdul Majid, owner of “Maktaba Rashidya Sirki Road, Quetta” and his son Muhammad Aziz died.   The bodies were shifted to Killa Saifullah hospital and later handed over to the heirs after fulfilling necessary medico-legal formalities. The incident has created a mourning atmosphere in the victims’ house.

Imran, six PTI men injured in long march container attack

WAZIRABAD:Former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan and six other PTI leaders were injured while a man was killed when a gunman opened fire on Khan's container during the long march near the Allahwala Chowk in Wazirabad on Thursday.   PTI Secretary General Asad Umar told media that PTI Chairman Imran Khan was injured in a targeted attack during long march. Other PTI leaders, including Senator Faisal Javed, former Sindh governor Imran Ismail, Ahmed Chatta and Umar Dar, were among the injured. A party worker, Muazzam Nawaz, was killed in the attack. (PPI) Larkana cops recover 150kg hashish

LARKANA:Police on Thursday claimed to have confiscated 150kg hashish from a car and arrested two accused linked to an interprovincial gang of contraband suppliers.   The arrest was made within the limits of Waleed police station. The accused were identified as Ali Madad son of Suleman Shaikh and Babar Ali son of Rustom Ali Shaikh and were involved in supplying drugs to various districts, police claimed.   They further said that search for tracing other members of the gang was being continued along with their buyers. Waleed police have registered an FIR 154/2022 against the accused and further probe is underway. SSP has announced rewards for the police party.

Asad Umar says historic gathering will take place in Islamabad

Islamabad:PTI leader Asad Umar claimed that a 'historic gathering' would take place in Islamabad on November 11. His statement came after reviewing party arrangement's in different cities.   Asad said that he reviewed the long march preparations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi and Sargodha divisions in the last three days. Caravan from Sindh will also join the long march in Wazirabad.
