Pakistan expresses concern over deteriorating HR situation in IIOJK

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has expressed deep concerns over the deteriorating human rights situation in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). Responding to a question at her weekly news briefing here in Islamabad on Thursday, Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch we have not seen any improvement in the situation in IIOJK as it remains under military siege and Indian oppression continues unabated there. PM to embark on two-day Turkiye visit tomorrow

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif is paying a two-day official visit to Turkiye from tomorrow (Friday). The Prime Minister is undertaking this visit on the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Alongside President Erdogan, Shehbaz Sharif will jointly inaugurate the third of the four MILGEM Corvette Ships for the Pakistan Navy, PNS Khaibar, at the Istanbul Shipyard. NSU, ETPB sign MoU for lease of land to set up NSU campus at Muridke

ISLAMABAD: National Skills University (NSU) and Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for lease of land to develop an NSU campus at Muridke in Sheikhupura district. The MoU was signed here in Islamabad on Thursday in the presence of Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training Rana Tanveer Hussain and Minister for Religious Affairs and Inter-faith Harmony Mufti Abdul Shakoor. Speaking on the occasion, Rana Tanveer Hussain said provision of technical and vocational training is one of the top priorities of the government to uplift the common man. Web portal launched to provide information about women related legislation

ISLAMABAD: Women Parliamentarian’s Caucus has launched a web portal for coordination among all provincial caucuses and providing information about women related legislation and their parliamentary role. The portal was launched at National Conference of Women’s Parliamentary Caucus held here in Islamabad on Thursday. The web portal will connect women caucuses of all four provincial assemblies, Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir Assembly and provide comprehensive data on women initiated and women oriented legislation. NDMA holds winter contingency plan and preparedness coordination conference with key stakeholders

ISLAMABAD: In wake of winter-related emergencies, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) organized the first Winter’s Contingency Plans and Preparedness Coordination Conference on Thursday.
