Man shoots dead wife, daughter, self in Lahore

LAHORE:A man committed suicide after shooting dead his wife and daughter on a trivial issue in Lahore on Sunday. According to a report, Police said Mushtaq Masih shot dead his wife Maria Bibi and 18-month-old daughter after a heated argument and later turned the gun on himself. The tragedy happened at the residence of Pastor Azhar Khokhar where Mushtaq went to meet his wife. Pastor Azhar also injured in the firing incident. Police and forensic teams have rushed to the site and started their investigation.

Six people injured as slum catches fire

LAHORE:Six people suffered burns after a fire broke out in the slums of Gujjarpura area on Sunday, said rescue officials. Rescue officials said the family of five including two children and another prson were injured in the fire incident. The injured family members have been identified as Rehan, Allah Wasaya, Amir, Zehra and their mother Maqboola. Another citizens Afaan also suffered injuries. The injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment, added officials.

Seven injured after blast triggered by gas leakage leaves roof collapsed

ATTOCK:Seven people were injured after the roof of a house collapsed due to a blast caused by gas leakage on Sunday, rescue officials said. The incident took place at a house in Haroon village of Tehsil Hazro. The injured included husband and wife with their five children. Rescue team reached the spot and shifted the victims to a hospital. The injured are said to be in a critical condition.

Policeman injured after being struck by car

LAHORE:A policeman was injured after being hit by a speeding car in Lahore s Nawab Town area on Sunday. Police said some constables were snap checking vehicles at a picket when a speeding car coming from the opposite direction hit constable Tariq and drove out of the scene. The injured constable with a fractured arm has been shifted to a hospital and a police team is searching for the escaped suspect.
