ISLAMABAD: Federal Ombudsman Ejaz Ahmed Qureshi has called for spreading awareness among people to use the office of Ombudsman for registering their complaints against any government institution. He was speaking at a ceremony here in Islamabad on Tuesday to mark the 40th Foundation Day of the Federal Ombudsman Secretariat. Ejaz Qureshi said the Ombudsman office resolves the cases within 60 days and helps people without getting them into tedious legal proceedings. He urged media to play its role in spreading awareness about the institute and its efficacy in swift delivery of justice.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Uzbekistan have resolved to further promote their cooperation in trade, energy and connectivity. ISLAMABAD: The Federal Cabinet has directed to prepare a comprehensive strategy for preventing incidents of power breakdown in future. The Federal Cabinet which met here in Islamabad on Tuesday with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in the chair also approved first-of-its-kind nationwide public awareness campaign to adopt energy-saving habits.
