3rd meeting of Task Force of Executive Committee of Pak-Afghan Parliamentary Friendship Group held 

Islamabad, September 24, 2021 (PPI-OT):During the 3rd meeting of Task Force of Executive Committee of Pak-Afghan Parliamentary Friendship Group, the Task Force recommend for zero tarrif to Afghanistan traders. It also recommends making Pakistan a business’s friendly destination for whole world especially our neighbour Afghanistan.

The Task Force also decided to recommend to technically supporting the Afghanistan in order to enhance their trade and especially to continue the supply of essential food items for Afghanistan in this time of need. It was also decided to pursue the KPK government for starting Luxury bus service which was closed in 2016 and suggestion of Board of Investment to consider establishing SECz on borders areas near Afghanistan.

SAPM Mr. Arbab Shahzad remarked about facilitating Afghanistan brethren relaxing all complex procedures would deepen relationship between both brotherly countries. Pakistan Special Envoy for Afghanistan Mr. Sadiq Khan said that stable and peaceful Afghanistan is vital for regional trade and prosperity. The Task Force meeting was attended by officers from Board of Investment, Ministry of Interior, SBP, FBR and KPK government.
