KARACHI:National Command and Operation Centre informed on Sunday that 43 more coronavirus patients had died overnight in the country, raising the country-wide death toll from the virus to 10,951 since the outbreak of the disease in February 2020 while 2,521 new cases surfaced.
According to National Command and Operation Centre data, a total of 519,291 people have been tested positive for the coronavirus disease in the country since its outbreak in February 2020, out of which 234,654 cases were in Sindh, 149,222 in Punjab, 18,569 in Balochistan, 63,339 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 40,019 in Islamabad, 4,882 in Gilgit-Baltistan, and 8,606 in Azad Kashmir. However, 473,639 patients have recovered from the disease so far.
