5 school children among 7 killed in Mastung blast

Seven persons, including five school going children, were killed and 17 others injured in an IED blast near police mobile vehicle near Government Girls High School area of Mastung in Balochistan province on Friday.

According to police, improvised explosive device attached to a motorcycle detonated near police mobile vehicle near Government Girls High School area of Mastung, resultantly, seven persons, including five school going children, were killed and 17 others sustained injuries. Police and other law enforcement agencies cordoned off the area to prevent any incident.

The bodies and injured were rushed to Nawab Ghous Bakhsh Raisani Memorial Hospital Mastung and District Headquarters Hospital Mastung for completion of necessary medico-legal formalities and treatment, respectively.

After providing initial treatment, eleven 11 critically injured were referred to Quetta for further treatment. The injured referred to Trauma Centre Sandeman Provincial Hospital Quetta included Irfan, 35, Zaro Bangulzai, 55, Nadeem,40, Haji Muhammad, 65, Muhammad Hamza, 28, Aminullah, 45, Akhtar Ali, 28, Dilbar 35, Abdul Razaq 14, Shahid Ali, 25, Zunaira, 5.
