62 SSPs, SPs, ASPs, DSPs to provide security on BB’s death anniversary

LARKANA:The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Sindh, Mushtaque Ahmed Mahar, has placed services of 62 police officers of Sindh police which include 18 SSPs, SPs, ASPs, Commandant PTC Shahdadpur, Principal RTC Khairpur, and 43 DSPs of various districts of the province at the disposal of Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP), Larkana Range, in connection with security duties and arrangements during 13th death anniversary of Mohtarma Shaheed Benazir Bhutto which is being observed on Sunday, 27th December, 2020, at her final resting place in Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto.

 

In this connection an order has been issued by the IGP copies of which have been sent to all the relevant officers who have been instructed to ensure to maintain law and order situation during the event.

 

They all will also ensure to obstruct terrorist activity that may cause huge loss to public and property. These officers have also been instructed to strictly ensure implementation of various instructions/SOPs issued by the federal/provincial government as well by Sindh police for social distancing at the venues to control spread of COVID-19.

 

The SSPs include Captain (R) Ameer Saud Magsi of Khairpur, Umar Tufail of Ghotki, Muhammad Anwar Bugti, Principal, RTC Khairpur, Altaf Hussain Laghari of Naushehro Feroze, Usman Ghani Siddiqui of Sanghar, Faisal Bashir Memon of Mirpurkhas, Shah Jahan of Umarkot, Hassan Sardar Ahmed Khan of Tharparkar, Muhammad Anwar Khetran of Jamshoro, Aijaz Ahmed Shaikh of Dadu, Shabir Ahmed Sethar of Badin, Abdul Salam Shaikh of Hyderabad and others.

 

It must be mentioned here that the entire top leadership of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) is expected to participate in the event to show their strength for which local PPP leaders continue to hold meetings with notables to bring more and more people in the gathering.
