QUETTA: Governor Balochistan, Syed Zahoor Ahmed Agha, has said, “Pakistan is an independent and sovereign state, hence, no country will be allowed to dictate policy”, according to a statement issued by the Governor’s Secretariat here on Wednesday.
He said that the incumbent government had been mandated by the nation to form independent foreign policy. Agha said, “We would like to have a cordial relation with USA, China and Russia and do not want to be the part of any particular block”.
He said that it was the fundamental right of every state to set national targets and form independent foreign policy, adding that it was the responsibility of all political parties to protect foreign policy and national interests of the country.
