QUETTA: Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, Federal Minister for Interior, has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan was going to complete his five year constitution tenure, adding that opposition would face fiasco in no-confidence-motion moved against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Talking to media, including PPI, upon his arrival in Quetta on Saturday, he said that seven days earlier it had been decided to handover parliament and parliament lodges to Frontier Corps and Rangers so that any law and order situation could be avoided, adding that under article 245 of the constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, government could enjoin upon the armed forces to act in consonance with the provisions of the said article.
He said that no private militia, including Ansar-ul-Islam and Bait-ul-Islam, would be permitted. In reply to a question about no-confidence motion moved against Prime Minister Imran Khan, he said that we ought to have moved towards reconciliation, adding that one year was remaining, hence, the opposition had better start preparation for the next general election.
