A tragic incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Kanjar Police Station where a collision between a car and a motorcycle claimed the lives of two young men.
On the National Highway within the jurisdiction of Kanjar Police, a vehicle collided with a motorcycle, resulting in severe injuries to Muhammad Qasim Helayo and Arsalan Helayo. The injured were immediately taken to the hospital for medical treatment, but unfortunately, they could not survive. Among the deceased, Qasim Helayo was an active-duty soldier in the Pakistan Army who was visiting his hometown on leave.
Police investigations revealed that the vehicle involved in the accident is registered under the name of a semi-government bank and was used by the family of a senior bank officer, Syed Asad Shah. At the time of the accident, a female member of this family was driving the car. Immediately after the accident, the passengers of the vehicle fled in another car, leaving the vehicle involved in the accident behind, which has been taken into custody by the police.
A case has been registered against the female driver based on a complaint by the deceased’s brother, Pir Bakhsh Helayo. A special team of senior police officers has been formed to ensure justice and transparency, aiming to conduct a thorough and impartial investigation of the incident. The community is awaiting further progress in the investigation of this unfortunate incident by the authorities.
