Pakistani Rupee Depreciates Against Major Global Currencies

According to data from the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, the Pakistani Rupee (PKR) continues its downward trend against major international currencies, experiencing notable depreciation against the US Dollar, Euro, and British Pound. The US currency rose from PKR 284.91 to PKR 286.08.

The European currency also saw an increase, moving from PKR 333.48 to PKR 336.36. Similarly, the British Sterling rose from PKR 390.56 to PKR 393.57.

The Japanese Yen saw a slight increase, moving from PKR 1.93 to PKR 1.98. Regional currencies also appreciated against the PKR. The UAE Dirham rose from PKR 77.64 to PKR 78.10, and the Saudi Riyal rose from PKR 75.92 to PKR 76.40. These values represent the closing exchange rates in the interbank market.
