Chagai Police Apprehend Three Bandits After Shootout, One Officer Injured

Chagai police today apprehended three suspected criminals following a firefight in Dalbandin, Chagai district, on Monday. One officer sustained wounds during the exchange of gunfire.

According to law enforcement officials, officers from the Dalbandin police station stopped a suspicious Mehran Alto vehicle. The occupants of the car initiated the shootout, prompting officers to return fire. Authorities took three individuals, identified as Naseebullah, Ehsan Ali, and Muhammad Ismail, into custody.

A fourth suspect, Osama Reki, evaded capture. Constable Tahir Khan suffered injuries in the crossfire. A case, FIR No. 75/2025, has been registered against the accused under sections 186, 353, 34, 225, H2/337, and 324 at the Dalbandin Police Station. An inquiry is ongoing.
