The Thirty-First Textile Asia International Exhibition and Conference, South Asia’s largest textile exposition, is set to begin tomorrow as a major initiative by the Special Investment Facilitation Council to modernize Pakistan’s vital textile industry through advanced technology.
According to a statement today, the three-day gathering, operating under the theme ‘Responsible Textile Shift,’ represents a significant effort to introduce modern technology to a sector foundational to the nation”s economy.
Pakistan currently ranks among the world’s top five cotton-producing countries, and the crop is regarded as a primary driving force behind the growth and development of its textile sector.
Textile Expo 2025 is expected to draw participation from more than fifteen countries, with delegations anticipated from China, Turkey, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, the United States, and France.
During the conference, global experts and policymakers will exchange insights on pressing topics, including renewable energy, the circular economy, and digital reforms.
A special session will also be held on the theme ‘Technology for Value Addition,’ emphasizing the push for greater industrial sophistication.
The event’s overarching focus is on strengthening Pakistan’s IT and technology industry while transforming the textile sector into a modern, competitive, and technology-driven hub.
Organizers state the exposition will serve as a comprehensive platform to foster industrial innovation and unlock new business opportunities in Pakistan.
