There was a significant decrease observed today in the prices of precious metals in the local interbank market, with gold dropping by 400 rupees per tola, bringing it to 493,662 rupees.
The price of 10 grams of the yellow metal also decreased by 343 rupees, resulting in a price of 423,235 rupees.
This local decrease coincided with a decline in the international market, where the price of gold per ounce fell by 4 dollars, reaching 4,713 dollars.
Silver also followed a downward trend in the local market, with its price per tola decreasing by 12 rupees, bringing its new price to 8,513 rupees.
