Assistant Commissioner Shakir Faheem has sealed a petrol pump in Thatta due to serious non-compliance issues.
This action was taken during a series of unannounced inspections conducted at various locations including Makli and Jungshahi Road under Faheem’s leadership. Investigations revealed that the petrol station failed to provide the required Form-K, along with incomplete supply chain documents and other legal shortcomings.
Faheem emphasized the district authorities’ commitment to maintaining strict monitoring of petrol stations to ensure quality services and legal compliance for the community. He assured that strict actions against any establishment violating regulations would continue and stressed zero tolerance for negligence in this matter.
Petrol pump owners were advised to keep all necessary documents, licenses, and records updated to avoid potential legal consequences. This action highlights the administration’s commitment to maintaining industrial standards and protecting consumer rights.
