XIANJU, China, Sept, 25, 2018 /Xinhua-AsiaNet/– On September 18th, the first press conference of China Xianju’s first global medical device innovation competition was held in Shanghai.This is the first attempt by Xianju County to attract talents through competitions.And also the highest level entrepreneurial competition held in Xianju County so far.
Xianju County is located in Zhejiang Province. It has a beautiful natural environment and is known as the residence of the immortals. With its ecological environment, here can develop green tourism and green economy over the time. In recent years, Xianju has comprehensively optimizing the circumstances for innovation and for starting an Undertaking. It has promulgated the most powerful new talent policy of the county level in Zhejiang province, which provides strong support for enterprises to recruit, use and retain talents.
Xianju has always paid attention to the mutual promotion of talent gathering and industrial upgrading. 19 enterprises have entered the newly developed medical device industrial park, including 2 national high-tech enterprises, 1 national researcher project, 3 researcher projects of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and so on. These projects have more than 35 high-end talents, and nearly 100 invention patents. The medical device industry is gradually growing into a new pillar industry of Xianju.
The competition will be geared towards talents and teams who are interested in starting an undertaking or blazing new trails in Xianju. Those talents are demanded to have master’s degree or above, and have experience in innovation or started an undertaking before. And teams should have innovative technology or research achievements which have broad market prospects and in line with the industrial development orientation of Xianju medical devices, new materials and other industries.Anyone under the age of 60 can register for the competition. There are four stages: registration, review, trials and finals. These trials will be both held on the spot in eastern and northern China and through a global video roadshow.
It is known that the event set up a generous reward support. The final winner of the first, second and third prizes will not only be given a generous bonus by the organizer, but also corresponding support funds and supporting services provided by the organizer after the startup projects lands.
